The Amlon Resources Group have assembled experts in the fields of manufacturing, metallurgy, catalyst, environmental law, and transportation to better serve the diverse needs of our clientele. This esteemed board consists of:
René Cabirac, Jr.
Employed by W.R. Grace & Co. for over 30 years, Mr. Cabirac has served as a quality control lab technician heading the Customer Service department. In this role, Mr. Cabirac and his team have provided customer sales support, internal sales information, and manages production scheduling. For the past 20 years he has served as Technical Sales Representative/Accounts Manager in the field of Grace’s Raney and Sponge Metal Catalyst product line.
Philip Edelstein
Formerly Vice President – Environmental Recovery Services of Phibro-Tech Inc, Mr. Edelstein is a chemical and industry veteran with over 30 years experience in metal salt manufacturing, plant operations and environmetnal affairs. In addition to extensive North American technical and sales experience in chemical, automotive, electronics, micronutrient, metal finishing, steel, mining, catalyst and water treatment industries, Mr. Edelstein holds two metallurgical process patents.
James N. Hamilton
Mr. Hamilton is a catalyst expert with over forty years experience in the production, sale and reclamation of catalysts related to ammonia, methanol and fertilizer production. Formerly Product Control and Blending Supervisor for Phillips Petroleum, Mr. Hamilton later worked for over thirty years as Vice President of Sales for Katalco, a catalyst manufacturing company. He is currently Spent Catalyst Procurement Specialist for Amlon Resources Group LLC.
Steven P. Krivan
Mr. Krivan is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and has been conferred the lifetime designation of Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by the American Society for Industrial Security. He holds a B.S. in Geophysics from Tulsa University and a M.S. from Central Michigan University. Formerly Manager of Environmental, Health, and Safety Services for Celanese Ltd Chemicals Division, Mr. Krivan has extensive experience providing chemical safety training to various industries throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, including three years domiciled in Saudi Arabia, relating to the safe receiving, storage, and handling of bulk commodity and specialty chemicals. Steve is a Senior Consultant for ARG with particular emphasis on business development opportunities in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Eric W. Norton, P. Eng
Formerly Vice President – Project Development and Operations for Baja Mining Corporation, a Copper-Cobalt-Zinc underground and open pit-mining project located in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Previously, Mr. Norton worked for over thirty years with Teck (formerly Teck - Cominco), as Metallurgist and Plant Superintendent for Lead Operations, with additional responsibilities including Mineral Treatment Research, and Commercial Services involving the purchase of all raw materials and recyclables for the smelter. In addition he operated and was commercially responsible for a Cominco Nickel smelter and served as Manager of Strategic Opportunities. Mr. Norton has extensive experience governing diverse application of various commodities including Cobalt, Copper, Lead, Nickel, Zinc, Gold and Silver as well as Sales exposure for Sulphuric Acid, Sulphur Dioxide, Sulphur, Fertilizers and related products. Mr. Norton has a B.App.S in Metallurgy and Materials Science and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
Gary Van Dusen
Former Vice President of Cobatec Inc, a cobalt and nickel refinery with mine located in Ontario, Canada. Mr. Van Dusen with 35 years’ experience in the metallurgical field has managed and operated several mineral and chemical processing facilities. Processing experience includes treatment and recovery technologies for precious metals, cobalt, nickel, selenium, zinc and copper, using high pressure oxidative leach and solvent extraction as part of the earlier innovative processes. Mr. Van Dusen has significant experience in production of fertilizers and specialty chemical production as well as several years of sales and marketing of primary and secondary mineral feeds. He has completed extensive coursework in Chemistry at the University of Western Ontario, is presently managing a metallurgical and mineral processing testing facility in Quebec and consults for the mining industry. |
