Logistics
Our Traffic Department, with course completion in Hazardous Materials Handling, will arrange and coordinate all logistics at the suppliers site, from point of pick up to ultimate destination. The carriers selected in all instances are insured to protect the generator from liability.
Although it is the generators responsibility to classify the material, our traffic department and freight forwarding company are prepared to assist and lend their expertise as needed. Upon completion of processing, a CONSUMPTION CERTIFICATE will be provided to be retained in the generators' files. |

To optimize efficiency in the Reclamation of your metal-bearing secondaries, the Generator (you) must plan properly prior to a changeout and coordinate your efforts with your Reclamation Partner (us). This is achieved by focusing on the following areas:
• Proper Planning and Physical Handling
• Transportation
• Environmental Regulations/Classification of Material
• End Uses of Catalysts
• Choosing the Proper Reclamation Partner
An ARG representative should consult with your personnel on the following packing options prior to project commencement:
 |
 |
 |
 |
SACKS |
DRUMS |
BULK |
FLOWBINS |
Ideal packaging for most materials. Holds four times the weight of a drum. However sacks cannot be used with pyrophoric or with certain other hazardous materials. |
Best suited for materials which may be pyrophoric. However, sometimes these are difficult to handle and costly to dispose of. |
Unacceptable for fine, dusty material. Generator must load from concrete staging area. Bulk loading equipment is typically more expensive. |
Can handle heavier weights and dry hazardous materials. While easy to load, bins can be costly for long-term projects. If your choice is Flowbins, always specify where you want empty bins returned. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
FLEXIBLE IBCs |
ROLL-OFFS |
TOTES |
PLACARDS |
Newer, innovative packaging licensed for hazardous and pyrophoric materials and wastes. Further information available upon request. |
A reliable option for long-term projects with slow-load times. Can become expensive with combination of rental and transport costs, but very convenient. If you rent your own roll-off, the transporter/provider must be provided. |
Ideal for certain liquids and finished products, especially acid-based solutions in smaller units / quantities. |
Amlon provides expertise on how to properly prepare and placard your shipment, both within the USA and throughout the world. |
